Addressing Shared Database Challenges as Cross-Team: “Peach Garden Oath” Architecture

Many of Money Forward's services have grown over the years while using a shared database. However, this complexity has led to slower development speeds and widespread impact during database failures. To address these issues, we decided to split the database for each service. Currently, each service team leads its own efforts, but in this presentation, I will share the perspectives and activities of the cross-functional team. I will also discuss the challenges of database separation and our future approaches.
